DESCRIPTION
Unlike TL 9000, the SCS 9001 standard is contained within a single handbook and includes both requirements and measurements. The SCS 9001 standard is built upon an underlying quality management system with ISO 9001 being the most popular. SCS 9001 is built upon ISO 9001 and the handbook is available in two versions, one with embedded ISO text for ease of reference, and the other without. The handbook with embedded ISO text carries a slightly higher price due to the copyright owned by ISO and the royalty that TIA must pay to use the protected material. Finally, the handbook is available for single user purchase or for multiple users with volume discounts available.
