TIA Congratulates Fifth Annual Global Sustainability Award Winners

Arlington, VA (December 3, 2019) –– The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, announced its 2019 Annual Global Sustainability Awards recognizing select companies for their outstanding performance and innovation in sustainability.

This year, awards were selected across five categories:

• Ericsson won the 2019 Global Sustainability Award for excellence in Network Equipment.
• Wipro won the 2019 Global Sustainability Award for excellence in Software.
• Fujitsu won the 2019 Global Sustainability Award for excellence in Corporate.
• Teltech Group won the 2019 Global Sustainability Award for excellence in Field Services.
• Superior Essex won the 2019 Global Sustainability Award for excellence in Non-Electronics Hardware.

The winning companies were honored during a reception and ceremony on November 12th at a Networking Awards Reception during the Business Performance Optimization Symposium “OS Dallas” in Dallas, Texas.

TIA’s Global Sustainability Awards recognize organizations achieving excellence and showcasing energy, passion, and innovation in corporate sustainability; based on performance as recorded through assessments from TIA’s QuEST Forum Sustainability Assessor. A part of TIA’s Business Performance Community services, the QuEST Forum Sustainability Assessor is designed to enable companies to rapidly self-assess and benchmark their sustainability and corporate social responsibility programs against industry best practices.
